Overview & Win Condition

Heal Midrose is built to survive the early turns, stabilize with constant healing triggers, then take over the board with efficient midgame bodies and oppressive finishers. Every point of healing matters because it buys time for your scaling plants to become impossible to remove cleanly.

Your main route to victory is to establish a durable board with Pepper M.D., Aloesaurus, and Brainana, then force the zombie hero into a resource squeeze. Once the board is under control, Cob Cannon, Winter Melon, and Dark Matter Dragonfruit end games through raw inevitability.

Mulligan Strategy

You want a hand that starts the healing engine early and gives you one clean stabilization tool against aggro.

🟢

Always Keep

Li'l Buddy, Sun Shroom, and Pepper M.D. These cards give you early tempo, healing synergy, and a smooth path into your stronger turns.

⚠️

Vs. Aggro

Primal Peashooter and Shrinking Violet. They help reset lanes, control burst damage, and buy enough time for your heals to matter.

Turn-By-Turn Sequence

Early Setup (Turns 1-3): Open with Sun Shroom or Li'l Buddy whenever possible. Your goal is not to race, but to create a board that can be healed efficiently while contesting zombie chip damage. Use Primal Peashooter to stall a dangerous lane and keep the board from snowballing against you.

Mid-Game Compression (Turns 4-5): This is the core of the deck. Pepper M.D. makes every heal translate into real pressure, while Ketchup Mechanic turns a surviving board into a threat the opponent cannot ignore. Brainana is often your pivot turn against trick-heavy decks, since it locks them out of the clean answer they need.

Lethal Execution (Turns 6+): Once you are ahead, stop playing reactively. Drop Cob Cannon and Winter Melon to lock lanes and remove counterplay, then finish with Dark Matter Dragonfruit if the game drags on. If the zombie hero is already low, a protected board plus repeated healing is often enough to end it without needing a flashy combo.
